Audio Adrenaline

With a music career that spans more than 10 years, Audio Adrenaline has achieved a longevity that only a handful of artists experience in today's fast-paced, ever-changing music industry. With a total of seven studio albums to its credit, Audio Adrenaline is approaching sales of more than three million units and has garnered four Grammy Award nominations and multiple Dove Awards.

While the band's focus has always touched on themes of missions and outreach, Audio Adrenaline has never been more aggressive in communicating that message than now, with the release of the album Worldwide and participation in developing The Go Foundation in support of youth pursuing missions. Slick Shoes

Joe Nixon has drummed for the five-member SoCal punk band Slick Shoes since its inception. The band has recorded its fifth full-length album, Far From Nowhere, on the Los Angeles-based SIDEONEDUMMY Records with legendary rock producer Ed Stasium.

It's hard to believe that, not too long ago, the band unexpectedly landed its first record contract with Tooth & Nail. At the time, lead singer Ryan Kepke was a mere 14 years old and had only been a member of Slick Shoes-his first and only band-for two weeks.

Nixon prefers to describe his band's manic music as simply "fast, fun, and melodic...I guess it's punk, but that word is used so loosely nowadays." Slick Shoes was a featured band on the 2003 Warped Tour and are currently touring all over the world. Visit www.sideonedummy.com.

T Bone

With a musical resume that stretches over a 12-year period, Flicker Records/Boneyard Records recording artist T-Bone is credited with bringing the true West Coast street sound to the Christian hip-hop arena. T-Bone's contribution to the industry has not been merely his longevity but also his relevance to the genre and the cultural influence it has on this generation.

His career began in 1991 with the JC Crew, and T-Bone followed with a string of innovative solo projects that included Redeemed Hoodlum, Tha Life of a Hoodlum, Tha Hoodlum's Testimony and the compilation Tha History of a Hoodlum. He hasn't veered from that stylistic path on his newest release, Gospelalphamegafunkyboogiediscomusic, another musical milestone for an artist who remains focused on delivering an uncompromising message with a fresh, authentic hip-hop twist. PAX217

According to Josh Auer, bass player and co-founder of PAX217, some bands turn to music as an escape, a refuge from the pressures and torments of the real world. Others--including the vast majority of what passes for hard rock on mainstream radio and MTV these days-use it as a platform for airing frustration, a soapbox for venting anger. But PAX217 has made it personal. While their music has been dubbed "music for the masses," to the band, it means more than just a popularity contest.

Just as apparent as the driving blend of reggae, rock and hip-hop in their music is the sincerity of reaching the audience that they came from. The five young men of PAX217 offer a fresh perspective. And it hits not like a hail of grievances, but rather as a positive instrument for change, for hope. Check out PAX217 at www.pax217.com.
